The grand ball, the highlight of the season, is slowly drawing to a close. The souper has been served, the band is still playing, and the champagne has heated the atmosphere. A sultry warmth has taken possession of the ballroom, and longing for cool air, we escape to the wide balcony, overlooking the dark park, and, in the distance, the lights of the city. A cool breeze blows towards us, the laughter of others sounds softly in our ear, the stars twinkle, the moon shines pale beyond the treetops. Suddenly a glance from the other end of the terrace... All these emotions of the past century seem to live on in the sparkle of the starry white diamonds and midnight blue sapphire of this bangle. The large old mine cut diamonds are arranged in a cluster around the sapphire, weighing about 2.30 ct, which forms the center of a large flower. In their graceful settings, the 1.10 ct of Top Wesselton diamonds look like a midnight greeting from the firmament, reflected in the rich rose gold. A safety chain prevents loss of the bangle. According to the hallmark, the bangle was made in the goldsmith's shop of Siegmund Tuschak, which was located at Corneliusgasse in Vienna. It is beautifully preserved and found its way to us from Munich. A fabulous piece that comes with a detailed appraisal from DeGeB!
