Born in 1987 in the north of France, Antoine Stevens discovers graffiti during his adolescence before developing a studio painting practice from 2005. His artistic universe sits at the crossroads of street art and contemporary figurative portraiture. Through a free gestural approach, layers of material, controlled drips and graphic interventions, he composes portraits of great emotional intensity where realism and abstraction meet. His work is today presented in several galleries in France and internationally.
