Antonio Pecorelli (XX) - Eleganza al mercato dei fiori

Antonio Pecorelli – “Elegance at the Flower Market” A stroll among the flowers becomes a scene of refined everyday life, animated by female figures in long dresses and decorated hats. In the foreground, a woman dressed in blue approaches the counter crowded with blossoms, while a figure in pink sits beside the display and another, wrapped in golden tones, holds a small luminous bouquet. The ochre curtain hanging from above delineates the market space and balances the presence of the three-light streetlamp on the opposite side. In the background, passersby dissolve among trees and green shades, suggesting the continuity of the stroll. The loose brushstroke describes fabrics, foliage and flowers through vibrant touches. The atmosphere, with a retro taste, unites the grace of gestures with the pleasant animation of an outdoor encounter.
