Aquamarine with Muscovite Sample - Gilgit, Pakistan - Natural Collectible Crystals Product description: For sale is an extraordinary mineral specimen for collection consisting of an elegant group of aquamarine crystals associated with lamellar sheets of muscovite. This piece comes from the famous pegmatites of the Gilgit region in northern Pakistan, a world-class locality renowned for the superb quality and geometric perfection of its beryl. The centerpiece of the specimen is a dense aggregate of aquamarine crystals in a delicate and classic sky-blue color. The crystals, partially intergrown, display well-defined faces, a vitreous luster, and notable internal transparency that allows light to pass through them magnificently. Providing a splendid natural frame is a rich growth of muscovite in lamellar crystals and rosettes (rose-like aggregates) with warm golden and silvery tones. The strong geometric and chromatic contrast between the rigidity of the hexagonal prisms of aquamarine and the visual softness of the muscovite lamellae gives the piece a harmony and aesthetic impact of the highest level, making it perfect for any display of aesthetic minerals.
