Primo GMT Bronze is a diver built with a material that almost no one truly uses: solid marine bronze CuSn6, the alloy employed in the maritime environment to withstand saltwater. Not a coating, not a surface treatment applied to steel: the case, bezel and crown are bronze through and through, from the exterior to the core. This is what makes each piece different from all the others. Bronze reacts to air, skin, and sea spray, and over time it develops a patina that no other watch will have: it darkens in the engravings, it lightens where the cuff rubbing brightens it. Owning an Arcaido is not buying a finished object, but an object that continues to work. The GMT function allows reading a second time zone thanks to a fourth central hand, paired with the 24-hour scale printed on the dial: home time remains on the main hands, the second time zone is read on the 24-hour scale, with quick-adjustment for time zone and date. A tool designed for travelers who want to keep two times in view. The construction is of a true instrument. Three hundred meters of water resistance, unidirectional 120-click bezel with matte black ceramic insert — raised numbers and scale, a material that does not scratch and does not bleed — anti-reflective sapphire crystal, black dial with applied indices and Swiss Super-LumiNova BWG9, white in daylight and blue in the dark. The exhibition caseback in 316L steel with sapphire allows observing the Swiss automatic movement at work: circular-grain decoration, blued screws and a custom IP black rotor that spins with every wrist movement. It is a finish usually not found in this price range, and here it is not hidden beneath a closed caseback. The strap is Made in Italy leather, hand-stitched and interchangeable thanks to two removable end-links. In the luxury presentation box you will find the second strap in NBR rubber and the complete tool-kit: the bronze buckle is one piece and shifts from one strap to the other with the included kit.
