Description of the lot General description: Elegant pair of low lounge chairs for the living room or bedroom (chauffeuse model). Characterized by a wraparound line with a shaped backrest in a medallion motif and a well-padded round seat, without armrests. Fabric and finishes: The chairs are upholstered in a refined damask/brocade fabric with a gold, glossy background, decorated with intricate embossed floral motifs in ochre/bronze tones. The base is adorned with a classic and elegant tassel fringe in a matching shade, partially concealing the turned wood legs. Conditions: Both seats are in excellent overall vintage condition, with the fabric well preserved, free of tears and with colors still vivid and bright. Frame and padding are solid and comfortable.
