Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Armchair - Bamboo
The object is a handsome sculptural lounge chair, and it comes straight from a beautiful rural farmhouse in the middle of the woods, at the end of a long driveway. Exactly the kind of spot where you’d expect such a chair on a sunny terrace, with a cup of coffee and nothing to do. Made of curved bamboo with rattan bindings, perfectly in the spirit of the 1960s. The rounded shapes and low, relaxed seating make it a true eye-catcher, whether you place it indoors among plants or outside on the terrace. The chair clearly bears the signs of its age and its life on the farm: wear marks, a discolored patina, and here and there some loose rattan. Precisely the kind of character you look for in an original vintage piece and you can’t replicate. A nice addition for lovers of mid-century design, or simply for anyone who appreciates a chair with a story. The item is carefully packed and shipped by registered mail with track and trace.
