Armchair - Wood, Rattan, Textile - Set of four tub chairs.

Rare and very elegant set consisting of 4 barrel tub chairs on casters, presumably dating from the late 1970s / early 1980s. The seats fit perfectly into the sought-after Hollywood Regency and Colonial style, particularly appreciated in vintage furnishings and contemporary interior design. Structure and details The enveloping frame is made of worked wood with a faux bamboo effect (Faux Bamboo), with elegant decorative knots reminiscent of natural canes. The shell is enhanced by a refined paneling in Vienna straw woven, present on the sides and on the curved backrest, which gives the armchairs visual lightness and a timeless charm. The base is equipped with practical swivel wheels, allowing easy movement of the seats. Original upholstery and capitonné workmanship The generously padded cushions feature an attractive fabric upholstery with botanical motifs, in delicate shades of sage green, peach, beige and brown. Particularly interesting is the capitonné stitching on the backrest, with covered buttons set into the padding, creating an elegant quilted effect. The seats are wide, enveloping and comfortable, ideal for living rooms, lounges, studies, verandas, or refined conversation areas. Condition The set is in excellent vintage and structural condition. The frames are solid, the Vienna straw weavings well preserved, and the coverings in generally excellent condition. Only normal and slight signs of wear, compatible with the age and use of the furniture. Dimensions of each armchair * Width: 62 cm * Depth: 68 cm * Height: 70 cm The lot includes 4 coordinated armchairs, sold exclusively together.
