When luxury meets the art of the game" with its base *** Magnificent piece by Stray-Nos. Here we find all the symbolic power and the provocative finesse of his universe: luxury, memory and myth turned around in a sculpture that is both ironic and poetic. “Art Stray-Nos – The Louis Vuitton Chessboard: when luxury meets the art of the game” Artist Description: In this chessboard, each piece tells a story. More than a simple game, this creation is a contemporary artwork where the iconic universe of Louis Vuitton dialogues with the precision of design and the elegance of chess. Entirely imagined, designed and crafted by Art Stray-Nos, this ensemble revisits the codes of luxury by transforming them into miniature sculptures. LV emblems replace traditional crowns, the famous Monogram flowers become the pawns, while bulldogs wearing glasses embody knights with a strong character. The rooks evoke iconic suitcases, true symbols of the house’s know‑how. Louis Vuitton Chessboard – “The Art of the Game” This unique piece, entirely handmade, turns the traditional chessboard into a genuine decorative art object, straddling play, sculpture and luxury codes. The board contrasts deep black marble with golden reflections. The 64 squares become a graphic frame for the chess pieces, also treated in a harmony of black, deep brown and metallic gold. The classic shapes of the game are revisited with a more sculptural aesthetic, giving the whole a nearly architectural presence. The board is supported by an originally designed foot, imagined as a large inverted glass. Its slender silhouette tightens under the chessboard before flaring generously toward the floor. This form deliberately distorts a familiar object to make it the base of a work, creating the impression that the chessboard is balanced above a monumental chalice. On the matte black base, the inscription Louis Vuitton – 101, avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris, accompanied by the monogram, is not just a printed element: it is executed in paint, reinforcing the artisanal and singular character of the piece. The painted gold contrasts with the depth of black and dialogues with the metallic finishes of the chessboard. The whole blends Parisian elegance, artistic détournement and manual know‑how. More than a chess game, it is a functional sculpture designed to be displayed at the center of an interior as a true collector’s piece. Artwork hand-made by Art Stray-Nos. The contrast between deep brown and metallic gold enhances every detail. The golden reflections catch the light and bring life to the reliefs, offering a sculptural presence that evolves with the viewer’s angle. Each piece is printed with remarkable precision, making technology and craftsmanship speak to each other. The chessboard itself extends this artistic vision. Its checkerboard follows the graphic codes of the Vuitton universe, enriched with bold messages that question our era: “Which world is Vuitton in?” A phrase that invites reflection as much as admiration, deliberately blurring the line between decorative artwork, collectible object and strategic game. This creation aims not only to reinvent chess; it turns every game into a mise-en-scène where luxury, pop culture and 3D printing fuse into a unique artistic signature. Art Stray-Nos signs here an exceptional piece, designed for collectors, design enthusiasts and all those who see art as a playground with no limits. This creation is an independent artwork produced by Art Stray-Nos. It is neither affiliated with, nor approved or produced by Louis Vuitton. The visual references used reflect an artistic and critical approach. Which World Vuitton? — A Contemporary Chessboard on Power, Fashion and Influence Original work handmade by Art Stray-Nos.
