Artemide - Vico Magistretti - Table lamp - Eclipse - Steel

Artemide Elisse lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti (1920–2006) in 1966, orange. It won the Golden Compass in 1967 and became a global representative of design. Eclisse is a cutting-edge balance between form and function, design and utility. The basis of the concept lies in its functionality to regulate light intensity through the rotating inner shade that “eclipses” the light source. In fact, with a fixed outer spherical housing and a mobile inner semi-spherical housing, the lamp can provide direct or diffused light. Nata come lampada da tavolo, può anche essere montata a parete. Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of MoMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
