Fransman art (Netherlands, born in 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work is strongly inspired by photography. From a fascination with atmosphere, composition and memory he translates photographic images into artworks that balance between realism and interpretation. His subjects range from iconic race cars and classic automobiles to exclusive watches and carefully chosen scenes that evoke the charm and elegance of bygone times. Through the influence of photography Fransman creates works that feel like frozen moments from a larger story. Each artwork invites the viewer to pause and notice details, emotion and the nostalgic power of the image. His oeuvre unites craftsmanship, aesthetics and a love for objects and settings with a timeless character.
