Alle Auktionen / Fahrzeuge / Artwork - Ferrari - IN CASE OF FERRARI
25 x 20 x 10 cm Red wooden frame, engraved plexiglass. With storage box. Limited edition 11/100. Catawiki Exclusive IN CASE OF FERRARI reinterprets the iconic emergency box “Break Glass” to make a strong, concept car statement. Behind the engraved plexiglass “IN CASE OF EMERGENCY – BREAK GLASS,” a Ferrari key stands like a sacred object, ready to be freed. The urgency here is not medical; it is emotional. The urgency to drive. The urgency to feel. The urgency Ferrari. The intense red of the frame immediately evokes Italian mythology and the DNA of the prancing horse brand. The key, ultimate symbol of access to the automotive dream, becomes a wall sculpture. The functional object is transformed into a contemporary artifact. Made entirely by hand in France, by Cartist, this work illustrates the meeting between minimalist conceptual art and Ferrari passion. It plays with the codes of luxury, desire and the modern obsession with speed and status. Who is Cartist? Born from the fusion of contemporary art and automotive passion, Cartist creates unique works blending paintings, sculptures and installations around the universe of luxury and supercars. Each piece combines iconic design and strong cultural references, using noble materials such as carbon fiber, metal, authentic car keys or premium art prints. Cartist draws inspiration from the greatest artists and movements: Banksy, Warhol, Basquiat, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi Murakami, Kaws, Mr. Brainwash, Shepard Fairey, Richard Hamilton, Yayoi Kusama, Alec Monopoly, Pantone, Blek le Rat, but also from classical pictorial heritage. The Cartist universe centers on brands and myths that shape our imagination: Automotive: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, Maserati, Pagani, McLaren, BMW, Mercedes, AMG, Audi, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce. Watchmaking and luxury: Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Cartier, Omega, Hublot. Fashion and haute couture: Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Balenciaga, Off-White, Supreme. Pop culture and entertainment: Marvel, Avengers, Batman, Joker, Superman, Disney, Mickey, Scrooge McDuck, Lego, Nintendo, Pokémon, Sega. Lifestyle & consumption: Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Vans, Converse, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Red Bull, Dollar, Bitcoin, Ethereum. Whether as an exceptional gift, an exclusive decoration or to enrich an art collection of automotive and contemporary art, Cartist’s works embody hybrid art between street art, pop art and mechanical art, where industrial irony meets fascination with luxury and speed. Artwork delivered with frame, engraved plexiglass, Ferrari key and certificate of authenticity. Available exclusively on Catawiki.
