An Asahi SMC Pentax-M 40mm F/2.8 lens, also known as a pancake lens The lens has a pleasant focal length, is very flat and compact. It’s hardly noticeable that there’s a lens on the camera, and it has very good reviews The focusing and the diaphragm ring operate smoothly. The glass is clear and scratch-free. The diaphragm is clean and operates smoothly with a Kenko 49mm skylight filter and rear lens cap. The filter goes on a bit stiffly, but it’s fine
