Ashtray - Bakelite, Metal

Vintage mechanical rotating ashtray with a button from the French brand Soveno ("Trademark and model registered / SGDG patent"). Typical design from the 1950s-1960s, combining green bakelite, chromed metal, and a beige internal structure. The screw/spiral mechanism works by pressing the top button to drop the ash into the lower reservoir, thereby minimizing odors. The top part detaches from the base to facilitate emptying and cleaning.
