Provenance: Italian private collection. Artwork belonging to the Italian contemporary Impressionism movement. “La barca verde e sogni” is a splendid Mediterranean composition, bright and immediately engaging. Between the lush bloom in the foreground and the sunlit village facing the water, the small green boat emerges almost discreetly, like a detail to be discovered. The whole piece is wrapped in a serene and dreamlike atmosphere, made even more intense by the light and vivid colors. The painting is energetic and strongly tactile, built with rapid brushstrokes, dense overlays and touches of color that give relief especially to the flowers and the vegetation. Blues, greens, yellows, reds and whites come together without losing intensity, creating a vibrant surface full of movement. It is precisely in the free, instinctive use of color that Faccincani expresses most forcefully his personal interpretation of Italian contemporary Impressionism. The work is presented in a gold frame with a light mat and is accompanied by the artist’s certification on photograph. Athos Faccincani, born in Peschiera del Garda in 1951, has built a personal painterly language based on Mediterranean light and on bright, intense colors. His works have been exhibited in Paris, London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong, making internationally known a style that quickly became identifiable with his name. The buyer will receive the artwork in careful and sturdy packaging. Very fast shipping. The color rendering and the perception of details in the photos presented here may vary slightly depending on the screen used by the viewer.
