Attributed to Aristide de Ranieri, a fantastic period Art Nouveau sculptural dressing mirror, depicting a reclining woman lying in a hammock suspended between two tree stumps. The finely cast frame displays the flowing organic lines and naturalistic themes characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. Retaining its original bevelled mirror plate, this is a highly decorative and unusual example, combining both artistic merit and practical function. Presented in very good original condition. W 48 x H 66 cm approx.
