Attributed to Barovier & Toso, a Murano glass pendant light

of rope-twist design with craquelure shade and ceiling bracket surround 67 x 46 x 18cm, Condition Report, Condition Report, This item is in unrestored condition with two strand electric connection that would need to be replaced, and this item has not been PAT tested.The metal spindle holding the ceiling rose to the main part of the fitting is somewhat loose and the glass elements are mobile when not hung in position. The twist twisted glass hoop is held in place within the brass bands with plaster as you might expect and this appears to be original. The single bulb holder to the lower bowl is a BAYonet fitting and needs to be upgraded. The lower bowl has a chip to the lower section shown in the photographs and associated repair. This item has surface dirt and the glass is discoloured as a result and would benefit from an overhaul and cleaning. 22.10 ON FURTHER EXAMINATION THERE IS A SHORT CRACK TO THE LOWER BOWL WHICH IS ONLY VISIBLE FROM THE INSIDE, APPROX 3CM FROM THE HOLE IN THE BASE. please see further images for condition.
