Attributed to Jean Prouvé (French, 1901-1984) a standard chair

mid-20th century, plywood and painted aluminium, possibly manufactured by Vitra, 40cm wide, 48cm deep, 80cm high, 44cm to seat, Condition Report, Condition Report, Structurally, the chair appears sound. There is some cracking to the wood - particularly to the seat pad - commensurate with age and use. Some loses to the wood - particularly to the edges. Tarnishing to the aluminium and loses to the paint - particularly towards the feet. Some looseness to the fixings, and the visible four may be later replacements. Please see additional photographs.
