Long, sweeping brushstrokes run across the canvas and form wave-like structures that evoke water, wind, or dunes. Each brushstroke is executed in a single, continuous motion — freehand, without preliminary sketching or later corrections. The result is a rhythm that feels alive and yet never arbitrary: Each wave follows its own trace, every work bears the imprint of the moment of its creation. Painted on raw, unprimed cotton canvas, the inherent texture of the material remains visible, which further enhances the organic feel of the forms. About the artist: AVENZANO is a professional painter. He lives and works in his studio in Germany. Influenced by the elegance of Italian design, the roughness of Brazilian Brutalism, and the clarity of contemporary minimalism, his works are defined by strong graphic elements and a natural, earthy color palette. His oeuvre is defined as much by what he brings to the canvas as by what he leaves out.
