Lithographie coloriée, signée et datée dans la pierre Ch. Vernier 1871. Caricature électorale représentant un candidat sous deux attitudes opposées, « Avant » et « Après » l'élection. Une affiche visible à l'arrière-plan annonce : « Élections 2 juillet ». Satire particulièrement explicite des promesses électorales et du changement d'attitude prêté aux candidats après leur élection. État : bon état général ; papier légèrement jauni, quelques petites rousseurs et usures marginales.
