Axel Brüchhauser for Tecta B20 Dining Chairs, 1980s, Set of Six

Designed by Axel Brüchhauser in collaboration with Jean Prouvé, Mart Stam and Marcel Breuer in the 1980s, the B20 dining chair was manufactured by Tecta. The chair has a cantilever sledge style base, constructed from polished chrome, with a high backed seat. Constructed from hand woven plastic reed, in a white finish, the seat offers a juxtaposition to the metal base while enhancing the sleek silhouette of the chair.
