A limited edition Aynsley bone china commemorative loving cup and cover, known as The Windsor Castle Vase. This piece was produced for the Peter Jones Collection to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Accession to the Throne (1952-1992). The vase features a deep burgundy enamel ground extensively decorated with heavy gold gilding. The body incorporates two reserve panels: one side displays a detailed landscape painting of Windsor Castle, inscribed below with "H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II," while the reverse side features a transcribed inscription commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Succession, dated 1952-1992. The dates '1952' and '1992' are also heavily gilded on the handles. The piece is presented on a circular dark wooden plinth. The base of the vase bears the Aynsley Fine Bone China stamp, Made in England, and is marked 'PRODUCED FOR THE PETER JONES COLLECTION' and numbered 'NO. 25 OF 200,' confirming its status as a highly limited edition.
