WEIGHTLESS FOREST 180 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible into a single vision. In “Weightless Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not held by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination. The reference to Magritte is not incidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air force us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere. This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one that is more emotional than physical? “Weightless Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual release that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space. “Weightless Forest” by itself evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be. - About the artist: The artist has exhibited her work in Almería, Spain; Dortmund, Germany; Porto Alegre, Brazil; the Spanish College in Paris; Galería Art & Planét, Paris, France; Los Angeles, California, USA; Montreal, Canada; Vienna, Austria; Barcelona, Spain; New York, USA, among others. - Technical details of the work: Acrylic on high-quality cotton canvas Dimensions: 100 cm x 75 cm (+ white margin) Signed on the back and protected with varnish Original certificate of authenticity manually signed - Note: Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings and lighting in the space where the photograph was taken.
