Alle Auktionen / Teppiche & Textilien / B541 - 250 x 290 cm - Tessuto Damasco in doppia altezza...
This refined double-height damask fabric embodies the excellence and tradition of Italian textile craftsmanship. Characterized by a sumptuous yet discreet aesthetic, it stands out for a splendid antique-rose hue, warm and bright, capable of reflecting light in a changing, iridescent way depending on movement and folds. The surface is embellished with a dense, geometric diamond lattice motif, where sinuous, curvilinear profiles frame delicate stylized floral details at the center of each intersection. As an authentic damask, the weave plays on the contrast between the glossy, satin-like background and the more opaque, slightly raised jacquard designs, yielding a texture rich to the touch and tridimensional to the eye. The blend of pure cotton and polyester gives the fabric a soft hand, allowing the drape to fall sinuously without stiffening. Size: 250 x 290 cm (double-height cut, ideal for large projects with no visible seams) Weight: 1.7 kg (a substantial weight, indicative of a rich, compact yarn with high density) Thanks to its texture and double-height width, this fabric is perfect for high-end interior decoration and classy furnishings: 1. Grand Draperies: ideal for valances and living-room curtains that require solid, sumptuous, and scenographic drapery. 2. Coverlets and Runners: perfect for creating coordinated bedspreads for bedrooms with a classic or neoclassical taste. 3. Lightweight Upholstery and Cushions: excellent for reupholstering chairs, antique armchairs, decorative panels, or crafting elegant home cushions. The colors and appearance in person are similar to those in the photos. The photos are part of the description. It is in excellent condition. Never used. Brand new. Will be shipped with trackable shipping.
