Set of 6 Baccarat Crystal Champagne Flutes - Model "Carcassonne" (1950s/1960s) Refined set consisting of 6 champagne flutes in precious colorless crystal, made by the famous French glassmaker Baccarat. The glasses belong to the elegant "Carcassonne" model. This is a piece of glassware history, born in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department and the fruit of the exceptional craftsmanship of French glassmakers. The design combines slender lines with geometries that recall the elegance of the Art Deco style. Design Features: The Cup: Features a slender, elegant tulip silhouette, designed specifically to enhance the perlage (bubbles) and to best concentrate the aromas of champagne and fine sparkling wines. The Crafting: The lower part of the cup (the parison) is finely decorated with a concave cut and deep glossy vertical grooves (paneled cut). This workmanship creates spectacular play of light and reflections thanks to the purity of the crystal. The Stem and Base: The cup narrows onto a faceted stem (baluster), hand-turned, which transitions to an elegant ring knot (smooth button) and a solid simple circular base. Conditions and Authenticity: The 6 glasses are antique (dating from the 1950s-1960s) and are in excellent condition, free of defects or chipping. Being pieces fully made and hand-blown, very slight differences between one glass and another may be observed (in weight, height, or in minor details of the motifs). These minimal variations are not defects, but the hallmark of artisanal workmanship that makes each individual flute a unique and unrepeatable object. Under the base of each glass is the authentic Baccarat factory mark: the classic circular frosted logo depicting the carafe, the goblet, and the glass with the inscription "Baccarat France", introduced by the house from 1936.
