Ultra-rare vintage luxury leather goods jewel for lovers of the Bugatti brand | Ettore Bugatti. A handbag signed Ettore Bugatti is offered, produced in Italy by Ettore Bugatti S.r.l. between the late 1980s and the early 1990s. Ettore Bugatti represented the line of ultra-luxury accessories parallel to the revival of the Bugatti brand in Campogalliano, Modena (during the EB 110 era); the manufacturer placed the Ettore Bugatti brand on par with the major luxury competitors, Hermès among them, for quality and refinement. The piece here proposed is exceptional, extremely rare, and collectible. It features an internal tag bearing the number N° 0003, identifying its position in terms of size within the line of these Ettore Bugatti-branded handbags, decidedly iconic. The shape of the bag, with the upper part rounded, is inspired by the famous horse-shoe-shaped Bugatti grille. However, the inspiration mainly derives from the Hermès Bolide handbag which, in the 1920s, was created exactly on the suggestion of the Bugatti family. The handbag is offered with all its exceptional accessories. Unmissable is the golden lock with the logo "EB" on a honeycomb background that echoes the Ettore Bugatti | EB Collection logo and, in turn, references the famous Bugatti grille. As with the clochette leather pendant containing both keys. The lock and keys are fully functional. The handbag is made of fine hammered leather in black, in excellent storage condition despite its age: the handbag dates to around 1993. Double handles and zipper are perfectly functional. The interior is pristine, free of stains and signs of wear, with a shiny lining in excellent condition bearing the "EB" logo on the lining. Additional details: the hammered leather is in excellent preservation condition, free of stains, marks, and scratches. Bright gold hardware. The choice was made to keep the leather in its original state, just nourished and regenerated, without performing any invasive restoration or recoloring to fully preserve authenticity and the historic patina of a product as extraordinary as this. As visible in the images, there is nothing to hide; the only defects found relate to localized wear from rubbing on the lower front and back edge corners. There are no tears in the leather or holes, only an abrasion of the surface that exposed the underlying material (the core of the edge). Subtle and normal signs of time on the handles, which attest to its vintage authenticity but do not compromise aesthetics. The images speak for themselves.
