The Bang & Olufsen Master Control Panel 5500 (MCP 5500) is an advanced two-way remote control and desk console, designed by Jacob Jensen for BeoSystem 5500. The device is known for its two-way communication: it not only sends commands to the system, but also receives status information back and displays it on the illuminated display (such as source selection, volume, radio station or track number). In addition, the MCP 5500 provides access to the system’s extensive programming and timer functions that are not reachable via a standard remote control. The device is delivered including a set of new batteries, so it is ready to use immediately. In terms of condition, the control panel is in neat condition with normal signs of use consistent with its age. The device has been functionally tested.
