It consists of a deep woven rattan structure (pencil reed style), highlighted by a wide upper border in gold-toned brass and topped with a tall fixed handle, also in brass. With its generous dimensions, this high-end basket can serve as a majestic centerpiece, a chic fruit basket, or a sophisticated magazine rack. • Origin: Italy • Era: 1970s • Style: Mid-Century Modern / Hollywood Regency • Materials: natural rattan, gold-tone brass Dimensions: 34 cm diameter Basket height alone: 27 cm Handle: 24 cm Total height: 51 cm The exterior bottom of the basket had been varnished by the previous owners; that is why it is darker than the rest.
