Alle Auktionen / Fashion & Vintage / Bausch & Lomb U.S.A - Ray-Ban Aviator Shooter - Sunglasses
We are putting up for auction an authentic icon of vintage eyewear and a true piece of design history: the timeless Ray-Ban Bausch & Lomb (B&L) U.S.A. sunglasses, specifically the highly sought-after Aviator "Shooter" model. This fascinating eyewear combines the enduring charm of the classic teardrop silhouette with distinctive technical and stylistic details, making it today an absolute cult accessory for collectors and lovers of high-quality retro style. The frame is expertly crafted in sturdy metal, enriched by a bright and elegant gold finish. The front design immediately stands out for its famous circular central bridge, known among enthusiasts as the "bullet hole", topped by a slim horizontal reinforcing bar. Another highly valuable and functional detail is the flexible temples with wraparound curl terminals (cable temples), originally designed to gently hug the ear and ensure a very secure fit even when in motion. On the upper part of the gold front bar the inscription "B&L RAY-BAN U.S.A." is clearly engraved, an indisputable guarantee of the prestigious American artisanal manufacture of the era. The iconic teardrop lenses, rendered in the classic and restful deep green tone typical of the legendary Bausch & Lomb production, pair wonderfully with the gold reflections. On the upper portion of the right lens sits the classic Ray-Ban cursive logo in white, a detail that testifies to the authenticity and the魅oro of this glorious production era. The condition of this magnificent vintage piece is excellent. The golden frame is splendid, glossy and structurally flawless, showing only microscopic and entirely normal signs of age due to its history and respectful handling, elements that only enhance its authentic appeal. The lenses are magnificently preserved and ready to filter the sun with unparalleled style. To significantly enhance this lot, the glasses are offered with their original accessories, including the unmistakable black soft case from the era, adorned on the front with the large circular gold logo "Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Impact Resistant Lenses".
