Bell jar - Antique - Silverplated - 1910-1920 - Serving Cloche L40cm

Large English Silver-Plated Serving Cloche with Artichoke Finial An elegant large English silver-plated serving cloche, crafted in EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver) and finished with a beautifully sculpted artichoke finial. Designed to keep dishes warm while creating an impressive presentation, this timeless serving dome is equally suitable for formal dining, luxury table settings or as an interior decorative object. The gently domed silhouette, polished mirror finish and refined botanical finial reflect the classic English tradition of quality silver-plated tableware from the mid-20th century. The underside is marked EP NS A1 together with pattern number 505, indicating high-quality silver plating on nickel silver. The cloche remains in good vintage condition. It shows light scratches and signs of normal use consistent with age. Due to the reflection in the photo, you can't really see the signs of use; I have described them. The finial was professionally replaced at some point in its history; traces of the original mounting remain visible on the top (see photographs). A beautiful decorative and functional collector's piece that fits perfectly in both traditional and contemporary interiors. Dimensions Width: approx. 40 cm Depth: approx. 31.5 cm Height: approx. 24 cm Weight: approx. 1.9 kg Catawiki smart shipping services, insured and well packed. #Elle deco #Christmas table settings
