A substantial large folio volume, cold-stamped sowhide on boards, decorated with interlacing bands and multiple scrolls adorned with portraits; a large black medallion in the center of the front cover depicting the Virgin and Child seated on a crescent moon and crowned by two angels, two chiseled metal clasps, red edges (contemporary binding).
