Bond Napa Valley Spring Mountain

QUELLA is the name of a very special wine for lovers of Californian wines. The grape from which it is made comes from a Bond-owned estate with a steep southwest-facing slope located in the eastern hills overlooking the heart of Napa Valley. This lot consists of 3 bottles from the Quella vineyard. One from the 2006 vintage, the inaugural vintage, the first year it was for sale, one from 2007 and another from 2008. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 20 months in new French oak, it is a wine that on the palate is expressive, full-bodied, and exhibits excellent quality with aromas of blue fruits, graphite, and a vibrant yet subtle finish. They have always been kept in a climate-controlled cellar (16°C) with the right humidity (85%) for the best possible preservation. It is an excellent wine to enjoy now or its maturation can continue for several more years, as it is a wine with great aging potential.
