The work translates a daily reality into a visual language of repetition and rhythm. Central is the tension between control and temptation, two forces that constantly vie for precedence. Each work consists of a box filled with insulin syringes, hand-arranged into a pattern on a wooden substrate. The placement requires patience and precision; the repetition that emerges recalls the routines with which a life is structured, whether or not diabetes is involved.
