Authentic Breitling Datora collection watch (Ref. 2018) dating from the 1970s. This rare model is distinguished by its superb silver dial, known as the « Surfboard » (surfboard) which horizontally spans the two blue counters. Main features: • Brand: Breitling Genève • Model: Datora (Reference 2018) • Movement: Manual-wind mechanical, reliable Valjoux 7734 calibre • Case: Tonneau-shaped brass case with snap-on back • Dial: Silver-toned background with the famous blue "surfboard" shape, peripheral tachymeter scale, chronograph and minute hands in bright orange, original • Complications: Chronograph with 2 counters (small seconds at 9 o’clock and 60-minute totalizer at 3 o’clock) and red and white date window at 6 o’clock • Strap: Original blue leather and Breitling buckle. Condition of the watch: • Aesthetic: Overall good vintage condition. The steel case retains its original lines with natural patina and light micro-scratches from use. The dial and its colored hands are very well preserved. The crystal shows a slight crack at 5 o’clock. • Functionality: The watch runs but requires a service. The chronograph hand does not align with 12, the pushers need lubrication, and the mechanism should be serviced. Photos speak for themselves. No returns accepted.
