Bulova aims to resurrect the essence of its heritage with the launch of the Classic Jet Star collection, paying homage to its original watches from the 1970s. At the center of the Jet Star version is the Bulova high-precision Manufacture Precisionist quartz movement, which features a frequency of 262 kHz, bringing precision to within plus or minus five seconds per month. The smooth second hand ticks 16 times per second, adding a touch of elegance to each watch. All watches in the collection are equipped with domed sapphire crystal, luminous hands and cabochon at the hours, date window at 3 o'clock, water resistance up to 50 meters, and interchangeable bracelets and straps with spring bars and easy-release closure. Design elements were carefully selected from the watchmaker's archive, with inspirations specifically drawn from the 1973 model, giving a timeless charm to the new Jet Star watches. The turtle-shaped case has been modernized into a contemporary angular form of 40 mm, while the original era dial colors show an appealing “dégradé” effect.
