The crown guard at 3 o'clock houses a robust knurled screw-down crown, flanked above and below by two screw-buttons for quick and independent adjustment of the local GMT hand. The extraordinary and elaborate analog configuration presents a multi-level technical layout: the central part houses an inner circular 24-hour graduated scale for reading the second time zone. At 6 o'clock is positioned a sub-dial analog date indicator. The main perimeter features circular applied hour markers with partial fill in luminescent tritium material, interrupted by the large Arabic number “12” at 12 o'clock.
