Del Barrio is a multidisciplinary Spanish artist whose work sits between contemporary cubism and figurative abstraction. Initially trained in Arts, she develops her career as a painter in parallel with her international career as a lyric singer. Her artistic language explores identity, emotion, and transformation through color, imperfect geometry, line, and symbolism. Her figures, often fragmented, simplified, or hybrid, move away from literal representation to create images open to different interpretations. Her work combines structure and spontaneity, recognizable forms and abstraction, with particular attention to gesture, balance, and expressiveness. Faces and figures do not seek idealized perfection, but rather to convey presence, character, and emotion. She currently works from Spain creating original canvas works for private collections and contemporary spaces."
