Cabinet - Wood, Glass, Ecopelle - Art Deco Dressing Table

Art Deco Vanity with Mirror and Side Cabinet – 1930s/1940s Splendid example of Italian Art Deco design, this vanity (or "makeup cabinet") perfectly embodies the rationalist and functional taste of the early 20th century. Characterized by clean geometric lines and an asymmetrical structure, it is a piece of furniture with real character, ideal for vintage bedrooms or as a contrasting element in modern interiors. Main Features: Materials: Made of solid wood and veneer of fine woods with a beautiful visible grain. Design: The cabinet features a large central rectangular mirror mounted on a stepped base. On the right, an integrated side cabinet offers versatile storage space. Art Deco Details: Original "button" handles in bakelite or period plastic with metal inlays. Ebony-stained black knurled feet lift the structure, giving it momentum and modernity. Top of the side cabinet finished with a dark protective insert (likely linoleum or vintage faux leather). Storage Space: Composed of two wide drawers on the left base, one upper drawer in the right-side cabinet, and a door compartment with an internal shelf. Object Condition: The cabinet presents well-preserved vintage condition, solid and complete in all its original parts. As seen in the close-up photos: Wood: The patina is authentic. There are light signs of age and use (small superficial scratches and slight color variations on the finish). Mirror: In generally good condition, with slight oxidation marks on the edges that attest to its authenticity and vintage charm. Treatment: Some woodworm holes are noticeable on the base and rear; the item has been proactively treated, but a standard maintenance cycle is recommended. Interiors: Clean, with the drawers sliding smoothly.
