Remarkable pair of three-light candlesticks with a Brutalist and organic design. These unique pieces combine solid wood that has been carved / sculpted with a forged iron chain assembly forming the arms. Each candlestick rests on a circular base sculpted to 11.50 cm in diameter. The aesthetics strongly recall Brutalist creations and Brut Art from the 1960s–1970s. Era: 20th century (circa 1960–1970) Height: ~31 cm Width (span of the arms): ~28 cm Weight: ~1,590 g for the pair Good vintage condition. Beautiful dark patina on the wood enhances the raw, authentic character of the pieces. Presence of slight wax residues and a few signs of age.
