Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Candelabrum Victorian Style (2) - Crystal
Elegant pair of crystal candelabras inspired by Victorian style, made in the mid-20th century following the ornamental patterns of 19th-century decorative glassware. These pieces stand out for their refined turned silhouette and for the delicate spiral-molded work that runs over the entire surface, providing dynamism, transparency, and an attractive visual richness. Each candelabrum features a broadly flared bell-shaped base that provides stability and balance to the whole, rising on a slender shaft decorated with gentle spiral twists. The top adopts an elegant open tulip-like form with a wavy edge, evoking the floral shapes so appreciated in Victorian aesthetics. The discreet gold tints integrated into the crystal add a delicate touch of luminosity and sophistication, enriching the play of reflections produced when light hits its faceted surfaces. The crystal’s transparency allows appreciation of the craftsmanship quality and the complexity of its reliefs, while the balanced proportion design gives the pieces a distinguished presence without being overly ornate. When lit, they create attractive sparkles and reflections that enhance both the candle flame and the surrounding décor. This pair of candelabras constitutes an appealing decorative set, ideal to accompany classical, Victorian, romantic, or eclectic furniture. Their combination of historical elegance and mid-20th-century artisanal production makes them versatile pieces of great charm, capable of bringing warmth, refinement, and a timeless character to any interior. Insured shipping and careful packaging.
