For sale is a beautiful, hand-knotted rug in the classic French Aubusson design. The piece features an elegant floral medallion on a cream-colored main field, framed by a detailed border in pastel tones and deep red. Manufacturing: Guaranteed hand-knotted (no tufting, no machine-made). The fringes are the natural continuation of the warp. Origin: China Style: Aubusson / Savonnerie design Dimensions: approx. 132 cm x 75 cm (measured without fringes) Material (Pile): 100% pure wool, very dense and soft pile Material (Warp/Weft): 100% cotton Knot density: approx. 120,000 - 125,000 knots/m² (approx. 35x35 knots on 10 cm) Age: Vintage, approx. late 20th century (1980s/1990s) Condition: Good, well-kept vintage condition. The pile is even, clean and shows only minimal, age-related signs. A perfect accent piece for classic or modern living concepts.
