Alle Auktionen / Beleuchtung / Cartier - Must de Cartier Vendôme (Godron) - Pen
A0000004235 The fountain pen is presented in generally excellent condition, highlighting very careful maintenance that allows one to fully appreciate Cartier's elegance and quality. The gold-plated body maintains a bright and even shine, with the characteristic grooved finish type godron perfectly defined and no appreciable wear on the edges. No loss of plating or discolorations are observed, which indicates moderate use and proper storage over time. On the surface level, only minimal micro-scratches of use can be appreciated, practically imperceptible to the naked eye and consistent with the passage of time, without affecting the overall aesthetics of the piece. The clip is firm, well aligned, and retains all of its original tension. The twist mechanism works smoothly and precisely, guaranteeing a correct and reliable writing experience. The upper push-button with engraved “Cartier” is sharp and well preserved, with no wear. The set is completed with its original Cartier case, also in very good condition, which adds value and appeal to the lot. Conservation recommendations To preserve the piece in optimal condition, it is recommended to use compatible quality refills, avoid shocks or drops, occasionally clean with a soft cloth and store in a dry place, without direct exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to ensure its longevity. It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
