This Pierre Jeanneret chair ranks among the best-known pieces of furniture in the Capitol Complex of Chandigarh, used to furnish meeting rooms and several administrative offices of the Secretariat palace. UNESCO World Heritage 2016, the architecture of Le Corbusier's Capitol Complex, designed in Chandigarh in 1951, has received recognition for celebrating a nation open to modernity.
