Ceramano - Vase - Ceramic - Arktis Decor

Small decorative ceramic vase / handled vase by Ceramano, West Germany, most likely from the 1960s. The decor is commonly known as “Arktis” and is attributed to the designer Hans Welling. Signed with "Arktis" and Form Number 218. The vase has a beautiful grey-white matte textured glaze with a cloudy, frosted surface. Its organic rounded shape, short neck and two small side handles give it an archaic yet modernist appearance — a lovely example of 1960s West German Pottery. A decorative collector’s piece for lovers of Ceramano, Fat Lava, WGP and Mid-Century ceramics. Beautiful as a standalone object on a shelf, sideboard or small table. Dimensions: Height: 16 cm Diameter at widest point, excluding handles: approx. 13 cm / 5.1 in Condition: Good vintage condition with minor age-related signs of use. The matte, textured glaze shows typical manufacturing and glaze-related irregularities, including a few small areas with light blue marks in the glaze. No cracks or chips. Please examine all photos carefully, as they form part of the description. Please note: Our decorative objects are not new but originate from the 1930s to 1990s. These are pre-owned items that may show signs of use, age-related patina, and occasionally minor production flaws. Additionally, slight color variations between the photos and the actual products may occur due to lighting effects. Shipping: The vase will be carefully packaged and shipped with insurance and a tracking number.
