Ceramiche Italia - Albisola - Firmata dall'Artista - Vase...

Add a touch of timeless elegance and sophisticated dynamism to your collection with this exceptional ceramic art vase/jug. Fully handmade in a evocative monochrome chiaroscuro, the piece depicts horses in full gallop surrounded by a landscape of trees and pristine nature. The fluidity of the painted brushstroke gives a unique sense of movement: one almost feels the energetic charge and freedom of these splendid creatures. It is a decorative piece that does not go unnoticed, perfect for both modern and contemporary interiors as well as 20th-century design collections. Albisola (Savona) has historically been one of the world capitals of art ceramics. Between the 1930s and 1960s, the kilns and Ligurian workshops were an indispensable meeting point for the greatest modern and futuristic artists (including Lucio Fontana, Wilfredo Lam, and Asger Jorn). The work bears the artist’s autograph signature, demonstrating his painterly mastery on ceramics and his ability to infuse vivid dynamism into figurative and natural subjects, fully embodying the tradition of excellence of Albisola art ceramics from the mid‑twentieth century. Authentic pieces signed by artists of the Albisola school with complex decorations like running horses are increasingly rare on the antique and collectible market. An unrepeatable opportunity to acquire a piece of Italian design and artistic craftsmanship history.
