Chair - Wood, Bamboo - Set of four vintage chairs in wood and woven straw.

Set of 4 Vintage Wooden and Rush Chairs – Italy, 1970s/1980s Elegant set of four vintage dining chairs, featuring warm honey-coloured wooden frames and distinctive high rounded backs with slender vertical spindles. The chairs feature a typically Italian design from the second half of the 20th century, combining simple lines, natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. The frames are made of shaped and turned wood, with cylindrical legs, supporting stretchers and rounded arched backs. The seats are made of woven rush/reed, arranged in a distinctive geometric four-section pattern creating a characteristic radial effect. Style and period Period: circa 1970s/1980s Style: Italian Vintage, Rustic, Country, Mid-Century Origin: Italy, stylistic attribution Materials: Wood and woven rush/reed Quantity: Set of 4 chairs The design and proportions are consistent with Italian vintage furniture using natural wood and rush materials, particularly popular during the 1970s. Condition The chairs are presented in vintage condition, with visible signs of age and use, all documented in the photographs. The wooden frames retain their attractive warm colour and natural patina. There are normal scratches, small marks and signs of use consistent with their age. The rush seats show more significant age-related wear. Some areas of the woven material are worn or damaged, and one seat shows more extensive deterioration with loss of material. These details are clearly visible in the photographs and are part of the current condition of the set. The chairs are therefore offered in their original condition, and the set would also be suitable for restoration of the woven seats. Approximate dimensions * Height: approximately 89 cm * Width: approximately 43 cm * Depth: approximately 50–51 cm * Seat height: approximately 46 cm Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly from one chair to another. Suggested use An attractive set for a dining room, kitchen, country house, farmhouse, restaurant, veranda or vintage-style interior. The natural materials and warm wooden tones make these chairs easy to combine with both traditional and contemporary interiors. A charming vintage set with authentic age-related character, particularly suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of Italian vintage furniture. Spedizione: imballaggio accurato.
