Important Italian solid wood chaise longue (meridienne) finely carved, made in the Carlo X style and datable to the second half of the 19th century. The piece features an elegant frame with a shaped backrest and a rich sculptural decoration, enhanced by large volutes and refined carved zoomorphic elements, which give the whole a notable aesthetic impact. The seat is upholstered in multicolored striped fabric, well preserved and harmoniously integrated into the overall composition. The structure is solid and stable.
