Blazing "Flying Dragon" Imperial Dollar CHINA. Dollar, ND (1916). Tientsin Mint. Hung-hsien (Hongxian [Yuan Shih-kai]). PCGS MS-63. L&M-942; K-663; KM-Y-332; WS-0097. Offering some of the more wondrous eye appeal that one is going to encounter upon a coin, this stunner displays a burnished and blazing iridescence in a crescent format, especially upon the obverse. This dazzling aspect rather quickly transits the color spectrum, leaving most of the central fields awash in an argent nature. Crisply and sharply struck, with radiant brilliance cartwheeling across the fields. Already a RARITY worth much consideration, this piece takes it to a whole new level on account of its tremendous accolades. Estimate: $60,000 - $90,000.
