Stunning "Military" Crown of Tsao Kun CHINA. Dollar, ND (1923). Tientsin Mint. PCGS MS-65. L&M-959; K-678; WS-0105. Tsao Kun in military attire/Proclamation of the Constitution commemorative. Struck during the relatively short presidency of Tsao Kun, which began in October of 1923, this lofty Dollar exudes tremendous brilliance abounding across both sides, with some delightful golden-russet toning evident among portions of the fields and around the devices. The strike is bold and without fault, and the pale gray backdrop pairs wondrously with the supreme elegance of the metal quality. No doubt a full Gem and among the finest of the emission that one can ever hope to encounter. Estimate: $80,000 - $120,000. Provenance: From the Liu Mung Wang (汪柳門) Collection.
