CHINA. Kansu. Dollar, Year 3 (1914). Lanchow Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned

Enticing Yuan Shih-kai Kansu Crown CHINA. Kansu. Dollar, Year 3 (1914). Lanchow Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details. L&M-617; K-759; KM-Y-407; WS-0706. An ever-popular and desirable provincial entrant into the Yuan Shih-kai series of coinage, this Dollar closely mimics the more ubiquitous output, save for the presence the province's name written across the obverse in the form of two characters: 肃甘. Seemingly a bit conservatively assessed, with some cleaning as noted, but with some pleasing color appearing near portions of the peripheries, and with less overall wear than one may otherwise expect at the assigned level. Estimate: $10,000 - $20,000. Provenance: From the MC Collection (陳氏家族集藏). To view all items from the MC Collection (陳氏家族集藏), click here. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
